ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

We were sisters in Christ before we became friends.
We were friends before we became neighbors.
And we were neighbors before we became business partners.
Our relationship has always been centered around our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and it is in our pursuit of Him that we have founded this business. Revival Living is a business that we pray helps people live their best story. Home is so often the first page of our story- our starting point, our resting place, the setting for what is most important.

One room at a time, we (along with the support of our husbands - owners of a real estate firm and construction business) have committed ourselves to bringing more beauty to this world. It is exciting to chase His will for us and give you the space you desire to most effectively live out His will for you.

When we are not shopping or dreaming up designs, we can be found on one of our front porches with a glass of wine, watching the kids play, and solving the world’s problems.

MEET OUR DESIGN TEAM...

EMILY MEYERS

Co-owner / Designer

I am a native of Waxahachie, Texas and a proud graduate of Texas A&M University (Class of 2000). My husband, Geoff, and I are raising two creative girls of our own, Molly and Ally. I grew up in an old house oozing with character that was perfectly decorated by my mother.  No detail overlooked.  And while I said I would never live in an old house or own a single antique, I have found that our God has a great sense of humor.  Currently, my husband and I live in an 80 year old house and spend much of our time and energy restoring it - to my absolute delight!

My passion for decorating and design comes from an inherent desire to create peace. I find beauty peaceful and harmonious. It is that simple for me. Blending the old with the new - using what’s there to make a house look as though it has been put together over time; finding a good deal; making any space beautiful for any and all budgets; mixing and matching, enhancing and repurposing… That is my passion, it excites me, and it is while creating that, that I feel most at peace.

For years, I have worked in the homes of friends, friends of friends, and various clients throughout the Brazos Valley helping people find joy in their homes and helping them to transform their spaces into places of inspiration. I find it quite beautiful that through creating, I have learned that God’s burden really is light. Using my gifts to serve Him is simple. I have discovered great joy in serving Him while working in client's homes.

I am a native of Bryan, Texas, a graduate of Texas A&M University (Class of 2001), and became a Registered Nurse in 2004. My husband, Kevin, and I stay busy with our three beautiful kids, Jackson, Slaton and Vivian.

My mother told me that from a young age (before I can even remember) it was important to me how my room was decorated and which clothes I wore. While I had fun nurturing this inherent trait, I never believed that I could actually serve others with this passion. For years I pursued the world and hid the talents God had given me.

My journey of faith started in my 30's and I fell in love with Jesus Christ. As I found freedom and identity in Him, my love for design evolved. Designing and decorating our personal homes became something I was able to put into practice. God used friends, family, and house guests to affirm my talents, but I struggled to see how there was any Kingdom value in something that is often perceived as worldly.

He has taught me that while He wants me to put nothing before Him, He can use my talents to serve and love others while I give Him every stitch of glory!  When my eyes were opened to that realization, I finally embraced the work that I was created to do… to encourage others by inspiring revival in homes and in hearts.

I went to Texas A&M (Class of 2003) and after I graduated, I worked in the thriving real estate market of The Woodlands, Texas where I discovered my love for interior design, and staging and remodeling homes. I’ve earned awards for exceptional kitchen and bathroom designs in Houston and I love turning each room in a home into a favorite space. My husband Blake and I have been married since 2005, we own our own construction company, and we have 3 amazing kids, Cash, Beau, and Tripp. I love college football, fancy restaurants, and  bringing the joy of Jesus into our clients’ homes!

I graduated from Texas A&M (Class of 2003) and I have a diverse background in design and detail. In the process of building my own home, I was able to hone in on my skills as a designer and realize it was my passion! I’m partial to neutral colors and interesting textures but when it comes to colors, I’m fearless! I’ve lived in College Station, Texas for the past 12 years with my husband Jordan and our 3 kids, Riley, Jace, and Kendall. I love Jesus and Tex-Mex, and finding steals on amazing pieces and incorporating new life into spaces is my jam!

I graduated from Texas A&M in 2019 with a degree in Business Marketing. I love my job here at Revival Living. I am definitely not the artistic one in this group of ladies. I handle all things numbers, organization and efficiency. I feel like I am utilizing my gifts in this position and am truly thriving! Did I mention I love my job? I am originally from San Antonio and I am married to my high school sweetheart, Ben. We love the Bryan/College Station community and are so happy to call it home. My husband works for Pine Cove Christian Camps, so that is a huge part of our lives as well. I am passionate about people, good food, and the local church. Jesus Christ is my only hope. The Lord has been so faithful to redeem, restore and draw me close. My favorite scripture is Lamentations 3:22-23!

ALANNA BURNETT

Design Assistant / Architectural Designer
Picture
I am currently a senior at Texas A&M where I am studying Architecture and minoring in Art & Architecture History. I realized I wanted to be an architect when I had the opportunity to travel to Europe in 2017, and I have been in love with it ever since! I have a heart for people and a passion for customizing a person’s home to fit their needs. I used to watch homes be remodeled on HGTV, but now I get to be a part of it and see it in action at Revival Living! Growing up I was a worship leader at my church and even though I am not on the stage anymore, I aim to worship Jesus in everything that I do. My favorite things are snacking on animal crackers, spoiling my Mini Aussie Stevie, and dancing with my boyfriend Bryce who was my Kindergarten crush.
